SERVICES
We
use the Scimech Scissor Flat Honing machine which was created by Bonnie Megowan
and Frank Davis with the input of sharpeners throughout North America. They have
produced the best in-salon sharpener for Asian and Japanese type stylist shears
available.
This
equipment provides us with the ability to offer high quality professional
sharpening on all types of barber, beautician, stylist shears. Using the Scimech
clamp for convex shears, a precise angle is maintained for the full rotation,
and secured during the "convexing" procedure. With a full range of variable speeds and a reversing motor, cooler
sharpening is obtained preventing tip damage due to overheating.
Each
item is tested, disassembled for cleaning prior to being sharpened at a precise angle. Then the shears
are, polished, had-honed, and reassembled. We check for proper adjustment to insure
exact tension, balance, and smooth performance. While in the sharpening process
we inspect the scissors for any damage that would require special attention. The
shears are then cleaned, oiled and tested before beings returned to the
customer. All work is guaranteed to meet your satisfaction.
If required by the customer, we are able to replace bumpers, finger rings, and make
other adjustments as needed.
