CLIPPER SERVICING & REPAIR

We offer different levels of repair actions depending on the customers needs.  In some cases parts will need to be replaced,  and in other cases the clipper might only require servicing of the unit.

SERVICING This procedure entails complete disassembly of the clipper, cleaning all parts, determining if any need replacement, lubricating and re-assembly of the clipper.  If there are parts that need replacement the customer is notified of the costs and repair time prior to any replacement work being accomplished.  This allows the customer to determine between replacing the unit with a new clipper or repairing the unit on hand. We suggest that clippers are serviced in this manner at least once a year to prevent hair buildup in the clipper, which can lead to electrical problems and damage of operating parts. In many cases this servicing can save the customer replacement costs as well as longer life on the unit.

Once the servicing  has been accomplished the unit is returned to the customer via UPS. Each shipment is insured.

SERVICE COST: 

Oster A5 & 76 Clippers ........... $20.00 (Includes blade sharpening)

Andis AG, BG, AGC & BGC Clippers ........ $18.00 (Includes blade sharpening)

Other clippers and trimmers are also repaired. However, due to the large number of manufacturers and models available we cannot list them all.  Upon receipt of a particular model we can provide the customer with the repair costs prior to any work being accomplished.  With the customers approval we would then proceed with the work required and return the unit to the customer as soon as possible.

REPAIR In those cases where the clipper is no longer working, and has a known broken part or a suspected broken part we charge a $15.00 inspection fee. When the defective parts are identified,  the customer is notified of the repair costs prior to any work being accomplished on the unit. Once the approval for repair has been received, the clipper is repaired and returned as soon as possible.  Certain parts are not as available on some clippers as other, but every effort will be made to make the repairs as soon as possible.

Once the repairs have been accomplished the unit is returned via UPS. Each shipment is insured and the work accomplished is warranted for one year from date of shipment.
